Maitre Chocolatier: Chocoholics haven

Who doesn't love chocolates?! I rarely see someone who doesn't. Especially if we are talking about European chocolates like Lindt, Ferrero, Frey, Stork, Valor, and Revillion to name a few.

Thus, I'd like to share with you a place where we found tons of these chocolates ❤ !!

Located at Jupiter St. Makati, a few minutes walk from EDSA, there lies a haven for us, Chocoholics! Maitre Chocolatier!

Upon entering their place, you'll see this beautiful dress made of Ferrero Rocher wrappers.

Maitre Chocolatier offers a variety of European chocolates on their shelves. A lot of chocolates to choose from. :D

But this store isn't just your ordinary chocolate store. They do have a cafe where you can enjoy chocolate flavored meals. The food & drinks they serve doesn't only taste wonderful, they are also well crafted and beautifully presented.

But they are not about desserts alone. The food they do serve entrees, snacks, sandwiches, etc. Also, they do have cocktails, coffee, chocolate drinks, and other beverages. Most of which are very unique. And yes, they also have ice cream!!

Cultural Festival 文化祭 (Bunkasai)

Last September 07, 2014, United Anime Council together with it's partner Anime Corner Group Pilipinas! held an outdoor photo shoot event held at the Ninoy Aquino Parks and Wildlife Center, Quezon City. Aside from the Cosplay Photo shoot, the event was also packed with entertainment. There were live bands, games, photo booth, contests, community booths, etc.



The event was graced by the cosplayers. The place is very nice. It is really perfect for photo shoot. There were also numerous photographers that attended since this is a good opportunity to take photos of cosplayers in a natural environment. Here are some shots of cosplayers that I took.

Aside from the cosplayers, there are toys/figures display at the event. I was not able to take a lot of pictures, but here are some. You can also click here for more photos.

Karaoke contest was also held at the event. It was a chance for the anime fans to sing their favorite anime song on stage. Also, there are games that involved participation of the audience. It was really fun and some people are running towards the stage to answer questions and get some prizes.

Aside from the contests and games, there were live bands who performed to entertain the crowd. The bands are as follows: Wakaranai, Shinkan, Aizukurimu, Asterysk* and Strange Orange. Here are the photos I took. I did enjoy taking photos of these musicians in action. :)

To sum it up, I did enjoy the event. Very simple yet full of fun. It seems that it focuses more on what the event can give to the attendees and not on what they can earn from them. Kudos to the organizers of this event. It was indeed very successful.
